Welcome!
If you couldn't already tell, my name is Lesley Ann! I'm so excited to start blogging for two reasons 1. I absolutely love to talk and tell stories and 2. because I'm blogging about my big move to Hamburg, Germany!! *insert happy dance here* :)
A little bit about myself.. I'm a recent college graduate with a degree in Business Management with a minor in Spanish. I think like most, when I started school, I didn't know what I wanted to study and it's probably because I wanted to be so many things. I contemplated so many careers after finishing high school and up until the very last second that I could change my major in college, I did and I couldn't be happier. I've grown so much as a person that has led me to my current aspirations and dreams, my logo, thinking globally. Although I hold a degree, I'm always finding ways to set myself apart and in order to do so I started taking German since last year.
I think anyone who knows me knows that I LOVE&LIVE to travel! So it's no surprise when I told my parents I wanted to study abroad in Germany. Not only do I want to continue learning German but also experience the culture. I've always said, "if you want to do something crazy, now is the time" and I'm doing just that!
Paulo Coehlo, my favorite author, always has been an inspiration to me through his writings and almost always seems to have an answer to everything. If you want a really good book, check out The Alchemist. It's about a boy and like anyone of us at some point, on a journey to find our calling and to follow our dreams. It's definitely a read for anyone at any age!

"…everyone believes the world’s greatest lie. It’s this: that at a certain point in our lives, we lose control of what’s happening to us, and our lives become controlled by fate. That’s the world’s greatest lie."
I think throughout the pictures and mostly in my writing you'll see I'm very open and quite honestly, I have nothing to hide. I've learned so much from the adventures of friends, family, and random strangers that I too want to share my experiences. Just like Ibn Battuta said, "Traveling - it leaves you speechless, then turns you into a storyteller." Whether it's to another city, state, country, or down the block, great things happen. I'm falling 250 mph from 12,000 feet in the air and I had 20 different emotions all at once!
Although my departure isn't until the end of August, I'll be sharing my previous travels and just about anything leading up to my departure and of course my time in Germany. I promise to share the greatness that I come across in my adventures and also respond to your questions and comments. Not only am I writing for myself but also to inspire you!
I hope you can enjoy something today as much as I remember enjoying THE MOST delicious piña colada EVER in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
