Oktoberfest 2013
O'zapft! It's the time of year where all of Germany and various other countries celebrate the biggest Bayern tradition - Oktoberfest. The 16 day celebration is mainly celebrated in Munich but with Germans, Oktoberfest is everywhere! I took advantage of the occasion and wore a traditional german Drindl.

Surfs up! Hawaii pt 2
It's
been awhile but I've been swamped with work and a random and spontaneous road
trip to Nashville! I've been meaning to upload pics and a video
from my shark dive but I need a Mac computer for that. I will try to do that
ASAP.
For
now I will upload the pictures from my first surfing lesson! I must say, I felt
more scared about surfing than I did being face-to-face with sharks. Strange, I
know!

Are you wanderlustin' ?
Welcome!
If you couldn't already tell, my name is Lesley Ann! I'm so excited to start blogging for two reasons 1. I absolutely love to talk and tell stories and 2. because I'm blogging about my big move to Hamburg, Germany!! *insert happy dance here* :)
A little bit about myself.. I'm a recent college graduate with a degree in Business Management with a minor in Spanish. I think like most, when I started school, I didn't know what I wanted to study and it's probably because I wanted to be so many things. I contemplated so many careers after finishing high school and up until the very last second that I could change my major in college, I did and I couldn't be happier. I've grown so much as a person that has led me to my current aspirations and dreams, my logo, thinking globally. Although I hold a degree, I'm always finding ways to set myself apart and in order to do so I started taking German since last year.
I think anyone who knows me knows that I LOVE&LIVE to travel! So it's no surprise when I told my parents I wanted to study abroad in Germany. Not only do I want to continue learning German but also experience the culture. I've always said, "if you want to do something crazy, now is the time" and I'm doing just that!

Hawaii, pt 1
Aloha!
My time in paradise is behind me now but I can’t erase the
natural beauty and experiences! I love to travel and especially to places
I've never been to before but Hawaii has never been a place I've actually wanted to
explore. WHAT WAS I THINKING?!?! I had a vision of it already in my mind and
therefore didn't pay much attention to it. I have to say, when you hear people
say Hawaii is paradise, BELIEVE IT! Every place I've been to has its special
spark that makes the city/state/country what it is. Hawaii has a combination
and culture of its own.

Aloha from Hawaii!
Aloha everyone!
Can't explain how beautiful this place is! I've been at Ko Olina for 4 days now enjoying the beautiful private beaches, swimming, running, and the painful sunburn, ouch! I have to admit, I tried snorkeling for the first time yesterday. I probably drank a gallon of the Pacific Ocean before I was able to get the hang of it.
Right now I'm writing from my hotel lobby waiting to be picked up to the airport to go to Maui. I'll be there for the Memorial Day weekend and on Monday I'll be back to the island of Oahu and into the world famous beaches of Waikiki!
